II. Usage Timing and Methods of Cattle and Sheep Strong Milk
Rescuing weak calves and lambs: For young animals aged 1-7 days after birth, use a syringe or feeding bottle to drench once every 1.5-2 hours. 30ml-50ml per time for lambs, 300-500ml per time for calves, 7 times a day. Feed-to-water ratio is 1:5, brew with 40℃ warm water.
Maternal substitution feeding: When female animals cannot nurse lambs or calves, use Cattle and Sheep Strong Milk (feed-to-water ratio 1:5) to fully replace breast milk. Brew 4-6 times a day and supply continuously from the birth of young animals to weaning.
Supplementing breast milk: From 10 days old to weaning, supplement milk twice a day. 10g per time for lambs, 100-150g per head per time for calves. Feed-to-water ratio is 1:9, once in the morning and once in the afternoon. Relieves weaning stress and helps quickly adapt to concentrate supplements.
III. Brewing Ratio and Precautions
Brewing ratio: 1:5 before weaning, 1:9 after weaning.Brew 4-6 times a day, and let young animals finish drinking within 15-30 minutes as much as possible.Clean the milk bucket (trough) every time; use easily washable milk buckets (troughs).Brew with clean, warm water, and the water temperature shall not exceed 45℃.When the temperature is low, brew with warm water first before feeding cattle and sheep to avoid gastrointestinal stress and diarrhea.
